This tour is mainly a walking one. It is strictly a short walking tour that is designed in mind to allow participants to experience the sights, sounds, and culture of the area on foot. Participants are highly encouraged to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated and an umbrella (in case of drizzles or sunny temperatures).
Look out for our local guides at Bugis MRT Station, Exit B (street level)!
Both the 1hr & 3hr tours will begin at the same meeting point. The tour guide will be there holding a placard which has the “Xplore SG walking tour” image.
The 1 hour tour would end at Kampong Glam and the 3 hour tour would end at Clarke Quay.
Our suggestion would be to pack light but bring:
  • a bottle of water,
  • an umbrella in case of rain,
  • your wallet if you want to purchase souvenirs (at the end of the tour), and
  • a phone or camera to take pictures.
The 1 hour tour is included with a purchase of the Singapore Tourist Pass Plus EZ-link card or any prepaid SIM card bundle from Changi Recommends counters or their website. This guided tour will bring participants to:
  1. Haji Lane,
  2. Arab Street,
  3. Sultan Mosque and
  4. (ends at) Kampong Glam.

The 3 hour full tour comes with a free EZ-link public transportation card that has $5 preloaded value. It is a continuation of the 1hr tour, which includes a Singapore River Cruise starting from Clarke Quay that will pass by additional tour locations, such as Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands (MBS).

Our tour guides mainly conduct the tour in English, but they are fluent in Mandarin as well.
Only 1 tour is conducted daily.
The 1 hour tour will take place from around 3pm to 4pm and the 3 hour tour will be from 3pm to 6pm. Please be there by 2.45pm.
Regular tours are only conducted once daily from 2.45pm - 6pm. However, you may consider our private tour arrangements where timings are more flexible! Please contact us at 8032 2341 to make arrangements.
Yes, as no food & beverage are provided on the tour, participants are encouraged to bring their water for hydration. Kindly dispose of the waste at rubbish bins, seen along the tour, appropriately.
Yes, our tour guides will stop at each of the attractions for you to take photographs and you may buy souvenirs at the end of the tour. Except for the river cruise which is passing by the last 2 locations.
Yes, you may! Simply inform your tour guide on the day of the tour that you would like to extend the tour. Please make an additional payment of $35 per person for the extended tour to the tour guide.
Tickets are available exclusively on this website and at Changi Recommends’ counter, located at all transit and arrival halls in Changi Airport Terminal 1, 2, 3 or 4. Find us here!
The card redemption can be done at any Changi Recommends counter. Please present the confirmation email of the online booking to any of our counter staff.
Payment can be made online via credit or debit cards or at the Changi Recommends’ counters
We accept all card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay & others.
No, you don’t have to book the tour in advance. The tour is available daily from 3pm to 6pm.
The tour will still continue in the event of rain. We advise participants to bring an umbrella. Alternatively, you may also choose to reschedule the tour to a different date.
To reschedule your booking to an alternative date, simply contact us at 8032 2341. We will let you know which are the other available tour dates.
Once a booking has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, you may contact us at 8032 2341 to reschedule your booking to an alternative date.
There is no dress code but we recommend that participants wear comfortable shoes and light/cooling clothing. Be sure to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. On hotter days, we suggest that you bring a portable fan or an umbrella to keep cool.
No, there is no bus charter between tour locations.
Tour itineraries are not customisable.
Yes, our tours are children and elderly-friendly as well!
However, please note that this is a walking tour and some elderly individuals or those with mobility difficulties may find it challenging. All persons under the age of 12 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
Yes, all of our tour guides are licensed by Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
Transportation to and from locations are not provided. Please make your own transport arrangements before and after the tour.
Yes we do! We provide private tours with a minimum of 5 participants, and up to 15 participants per group. Please contact us at 8032 2341 to make arrangements.
