Steps to make a booking:
Step 1: Go to the Overseas Transport section
Step 2: Select your Destination or Country
Step 3: Choose your Transport Type: Airport Transfer or Private Car Charter

We strongly recommend booking at least 4 working days before your departure date.
  • Your booking will be processed and sent to the transport provider.
    • Please check your spam/junk folder, if the email is not seen
    • If there are incorrect details, kindly contact us at call@changirecommends.com.sg for amendments.

  • A confirmation email will be sent to you after a successful payment.
  • To ensure a smooth and coordinated experience, the driver may contact you directly or the driver’s contact details will be sent via your WhatsApp number, within 24 hours of your scheduled booking service time.
The driver will contact & guide you where to proceed to & be picked up at. Please check your phone for messages from the driver.
  • Changes must be made at least 4 business days before your scheduled pick-up date.
  • There is no extra charge if the vehicle type remains unchanged.
  • Customers will be required to pay the additional price difference, for these instances:
    • the vehicle type needs to be upgraded,
    • the travel date falls within a peak period,
    • your itinerary’s location(s) is outside the designated service zone.
    • Note: Prices may vary due to currency exchange fluctuations or seasonal pricing.
Our refund policy will be based on these circumstances.
Refunds are processed within 14–21 business days and credited back to your original payment method.

Case-by-case basis

  • Flight Number-based pickup:
    The driver will monitor your flight status. A 90-minute Free Waiting Time will be provided from the actual landing time.

    If your flight is delayed by more than 2 hours from departure, please contact us immediately at call@changirecommends.com.sg or WhatsApp +65 8790 0737.
    We will contact the transport provider on your behalf to ensure a smooth continuation of your service

  • Designated time pickup:
    A 30-minute Free Waiting Time will be provided based on the scheduled pick-up time, regardless of your actual landing time.
  • Additional charges will apply if the free waiting time is exceeded.

To avoid delays or heavy traffic jams, please schedule your pick-up time at least 3 to 4 hours before your flight.

If your accommodation is far from the airport, we would strongly recommend allowing for additional travel time. Our drivers will arrive punctually at the designated pick-up location & time to ensure you reach the airport on time.

We typically provide only one (1) child car seat per vehicle, due to vehicle capacity limitations and to ensure sufficient space for luggage.

If more than one child seat is required, please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Please note that child car seats may incur an additional fee and are subject to availability.

Child car seat fees are non-refundable, regardless of the usage.

For the safety of all passengers, we strongly recommend following local regulations for each country and using a child car seat.

Malaysia

Children under 135 cm height must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.

Taiwan

Children under 4 years old must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.

South Korea

Children aged 6 years and below must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.

Japan

Children aged 6 years and below (or under 140 cm) must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.

China

There is no nationwide law requiring child restraint seats.
However, Shanghai and Shandong Province have local regulations requiring children under 4 years old to use a child restraint seat.

Important Note: Changi Recommends will not be held liable if the safety regulations are not followed.

  • Standard luggage size: 64 x 41 x 26 cm (24-inch medium bag).
    Larger items may count as two. Prams, wheelchairs, or mobility aids count as odd-sized items.
  • Please refer to transport vehicle details for max carrying capacity.

If you’re travelling with bulky items, other than luggage, please contact us in advance at call@changirecommends.com.sg.

When reaching out, kindly provide the following details:

  • Number and size of regular luggage
  • Number of passengers
  • Number, size/what kind of bulky items (e.g. skis, golf clubs)

We will assess your needs and recommend the most suitable vehicle to ensure a comfortable and safe journey.

Please email us in advance at call@changirecommends.com.sg and let us know the type and size of the wheelchair or personal mobility device you will be bringing.

We will assist with making suitable transport arrangements to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Your payment of the transport service includes the following:

  • Fuel costs, car and driver service fees
  • Parking fees and Toll fees (unless otherwise stated)

Excludes: Attraction admission fees, Travel insurance, Personal expenses

Tipping is not required in many countries, but it’s always appreciated for excellent service.
It is entirely up to the customer if they so wish to tip the driver.

We highly recommend securing valid travel insurance for the whole duration of your trip.

  • Our drivers may refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated, aggressive, or otherwise unsafe.
  • No refunds will be given if service is cancelled due to such behaviour.
  • Any damages caused to the vehicle may be charged to the passenger.
